Ryne started walking this past week! How exciting it has been to see him navigate through the house on those two wobbly little legs. The day your child enters the world you start to think about all the milestones and wonder when he will reach them. And when it happens... you look at your son and realize he needs you just a little less than he did the day, week, or month before. All I can say... it's bittersweet.

When I dropped Ryne off at the nursery this morning I was handed a gift that he had made for me! It was a sweet poem and one of his hand prints. I'm going to miss those chubby little fingers some day. What a great way to remember my first Mother's Day.
