December was a blur. I was looking at the calendar yesterday and wondered where it went. Just about everyday had something penciled in... a dr's appointment, Christmas party, baby shower, etc. We had a great Christmas with my parents visiting for a few days. Ryne got too many gifts, but surprisingly has enjoyed them all. No ornaments were broken this year. He learned right away not to touch the tree. We would see him walking around it holding his hands behind his back. He wasn't going to let temptation get the best of him.

But the holidays are over, the decorations packed away and now we are just waiting for baby #2 to arrive. I went to the doctor yesterday for my 38 week check up. Everything is progressing as it should. Looks like I better get my hospital bag packed, stock up on some newborn diapers, and decide on some names. I know, how can we be this close and not have any names picked out?! The ultrasound showed that the baby weighs a little over 6 lbs and everything looks great. Although I didn't ask, the technician let me see the baby in 4D! She even printed some pictures out for me(I can't believe people actually pay for these). What do you think - boy or girl? We'll find out soon!
