It's official. Ryne is now in "big boy" underwear!!! No more diapers!!! Yay! We're so proud of our little man.

silly sister
Emma Kate had her 15 month check up on Tuesday. She is 30" tall (25%) and weighs 18 lbs 6 oz (3%). She eats like a bird and is so active that she really isn't gaining much weight. Her doctor asked me to add more calories to her meals. I guess I'll start dipping her french toast sticks in chocolate sauce for breakfast. :/
She is such a monkey. She loves to climb! I have to watch her constantly or she will be dancing on the kitchen table, sitting on top of the desk or falling off her changing table/dresser. Her favorite movie is Finding Nemo. I hear "Me-mo, me-mo" constantly. She has such a sweet little voice. Some words that I love to hear her say are, shoe (of course, she loves them like me!), paci, miiiilk, cookie, and kiki (kitty kitty). And when you ask her if she wants something instead of her saying yes she says "k". She loves being chased by Ryne. She purposely grabs his toys and struts past him so he will see her and chase after her. She usually throws down whatever she has in her hands before he can get to her. So funny. Never a dull moment here.

summer is here... at our house anyway
This morning I pulled out the pool for the kiddos. It was Emma Kate's first dip. She enjoyed standing in it, but wasn't fond of getting her bottom side wet.
Emma Kate didn't like participating in all the splashing so she watched (and cackled) from a distance.
I figure by midsummer her swimsuit will fit.
And then there was Ryne's shorts, that started out in the right place...
but after awhile I noticed a progression southward...
Is that comfortable? Really?
Maybe his will fit by midsummer too. ;)
