i'm baaaaaack

My computer arrived yesterday!!! I've got some catching up to do... and it's a little overwhelming. I am exhausted (with a cold) tonight, but I promise pictures and "deep" thoughts soon!

Also, this blog needs some attention... that header is just sad. Ugh. I am going to bed.

new year, new motto

When I am awakened at midnight by a vomiting baby girl...

When she has three very nasty diapers, needs two baths (both within 30 mins of each other) and refuses to eat much of anything...

When my husband suggests breakfast items (that we are out of) to our two point five year old...

While trying to find something to please the two point five year old's taste buds because he is still wanting what daddy suggested...

When I step on cheerios (and crush them into the carpet)because I did not realize my baby girl has strewn them from the kitchen to the living room...

When I can't get the vacuum cleaner away from my son...

When he demands to wear his new rain boots during his nap...

When the little people of the house try to whine in harmony...

When I get hit in the face with a soft foam baseball (that my son smacked across the room)...

When we only have decaf and I am in desperate need of caffeine...

When I can't remember the last time EVERYONE in my house was well...

When I have to use a laptop from ancient Egypt while I wait on a new motherboard to be ordered, installed and then my computer delivered...

When I have to keep erasing pictures (that I'm not in love with) from my camera because the memory space has almost reached its capacity and because downloading them onto the ancient laptop would take FOREVER...

When there are two adults, two kiddos, pouring rain and only ONE umbrella...
