ryne's third birthday, part two

Part of Ryne's birthday (weekend) included a trip to see his first movie, Toy Story 3. He loves the first two so we thought he would enjoy seeing the new one on the big screen... and he did.

He also enjoyed his movie meal. It included popcorn, gummy slugs and a sprite.

P.S. I only took pictures during the previews and closing credits. Like I want popcorn thrown at my head... I think not.

I know, all you can focus on is that ridiculous Russell Brand poster...

america's favorite pastime...

We met up with some friends at the Barons' game last night.

With his cap on and glove in hand Ryne actually sat/stood and watched the game. This kid is obessed with baseball.

The girls' favorite part. Ice cream.

Ryne enjoyed it too.

Then my favorite part...

FIREWORKS!

It was the kids' first time seeing/hearing them and although Ryne was excited before the show he quickly retreated to this spot (under his daddy's legs) once it started. He never cried, but he kept that scared look on his face pretty much the entire time. Later in the car he talked about how the fireworks hurt his ears, toes and bottom side (among many other parts). Oh, and he wanted to make sure we told his grandaddy and grandmummer (that name could very well be permanent) that he didn't like fireworks. So there you have it. Looks like there will be no fireworks for us on the fourth...

The girls on the other hand, were mesmerized.
