merry christmas and happy new year...

We were busy during the holidays...shopping trips, parties and of course, meeting Santa. Ryne enjoyed his first Christmas down near the coast at my parent's house. We had a great trip visiting family, seeing friends, and opening gifts! The following week Ryne got a nasty cough that turned out to be bronchiolitis (and an ear infection). Poor little guy :( We visited his doctor and after an antibiotic and some breathing treatments he is now back to 100%.

Ryne turned 6 months old on December 28th. I can't believe how much he has changed since we first brought him home. He is rolling all over the place, trying to scoot and talking non stop. He loves the bumper jumper he got for Christmas. He actually fell asleep in it! He is starting to sit up on his own (still needs a little help). It will make grocery shopping a lot easier when he finally does! He has grown out of his carrier so we have to find him a car seat soon. He still has a beautiful toothless grin...but I have a feeling we will see some pearly whites soon. :)

Ryne is now rolling over (back to belly), which makes diaper changing a challenge sometimes :)

He is also trying "big boy" food. He likes oatmeal, applesauce, and prunes. He is not crazy about the spoon, but he is starting to get the hang of it. We are looking forward to seeing our family tomorrow for Thanksgiving and doing some Christmas shopping this weekend. We haven't traveled with him in a few months so it will be interesting to see how he does on the 4 hour trip. We are leaving B'ham at 8:00 tonight so maybe he will sleep on the way down.
