ketchup & pajamas

Ryne has learned that ketchup is not only good for making finger art, but it's great for dipping your tots in too.

Some people call me the space cowboy...

He loves his new pjs. When we put them on he stared at his feet for minute and then ran to the mirror to check himself out.

first baseball game

We took Ryne to his first baseball game Saturday night. The company I work for hosted a family event at Regions Park. Of course, Ryne wore his Cubbies' tee since the Baron's are the minor league team for the White Sox. He had a great time running all over the park, showing off his awesome dance moves for my co-workers, and crashing some kid's birthday party. He also enjoyed sharing my icecream (served in a baseball cap). I was worried he might get fussy as it got close to bedtime, but I think Alan and I got tired before he did. It was a fun night, but I forgot my camera. :(

first haircut

Ryne got his first haircut. Alan and I took him to Homewood Old Timey Barber Shop. It's a cruddy little place that reminds me of where my Grandaddy use to get his hair cut. Butch (the barber) did a great job with a customer who didn't want to keep his head still. ;) Ryne received a certificate telling him he had "graduated from babyhood" and I received an envelope that holds the precious little curls that I loved... tear.
