First, twist from the waist. Then reach past your toes...you may find that pointing helps :) Get a good stretch in your back.Then rest for a minute...you deserve it! Now for the downward facing dog...concentration is the key. This pose requires steady hands & feet (toes really) and nothing but a diaper on?!

what's new

Ryne is scooting (backwards) everywhere! Once you put him down he's gone. Pushing up with on his hands and knees... looks like he may be crawling soon.

He is also sitting up totally on his own now. It has made life a little easier. I can put him in the seat of the shopping cart. Which is great because he no longer fits in his carrier. :/

Oh yeah, and he now has two teeth...see!

merry christmas and happy new year...

We were busy during the holidays...shopping trips, parties and of course, meeting Santa. Ryne enjoyed his first Christmas down near the coast at my parent's house. We had a great trip visiting family, seeing friends, and opening gifts! The following week Ryne got a nasty cough that turned out to be bronchiolitis (and an ear infection). Poor little guy :( We visited his doctor and after an antibiotic and some breathing treatments he is now back to 100%.

Ryne turned 6 months old on December 28th. I can't believe how much he has changed since we first brought him home. He is rolling all over the place, trying to scoot and talking non stop. He loves the bumper jumper he got for Christmas. He actually fell asleep in it! He is starting to sit up on his own (still needs a little help). It will make grocery shopping a lot easier when he finally does! He has grown out of his carrier so we have to find him a car seat soon. He still has a beautiful toothless grin...but I have a feeling we will see some pearly whites soon. :)
