Ryne got to watch his first Cubs game today. He was excited to have his Daddy home for the afternoon. He climbed all over Alan while he watched the game. For those of you that don't know, Alan grew up just south of Chicago and is a HUGE cubs fan. Ryne was actually named after hall-of-famer Ryne Sandberg, who played second base for the cubs his entire career.
Cheering for his team can wear a little cubbie out.
Ryne went to the doctor this morning for his 9 month checkup. He now weighs 22 lbs (75th percentile) and he is almost 30" long (90th percentile). He received a finger prick to check for anemia and two shots. He wasn't happy about it, but he survived. The doctor said he looked great and that the orange nose is just from all the yellow/orange veggies. Whew! I thought my child might be turning into an Oompa Loompa. ;)
Ryne will turn 9 months old Friday. He is now crawling and pulling up. We have to keep him "fenced" away from Jax (& his dog food). We lowered the crib mattress all the way. He is also saying bye bye, which sounds like "ba ba ba ba". It is really cute. I can't wait until he says mama.
Then reach past your toes...you may find that pointing helps :)
Get a good stretch in your back.
Then rest for a minute...you deserve it! 
Now for the downward facing dog...concentration is the key. This pose requires steady hands & feet (toes really) and nothing but a diaper on?!
